All of these lakes were man made.

We call this Bedrock. It is like a big fort for kids. I've been told that Saddam had it built for his grand kids but that has not been verified. It reminds me of a mini-golf course or something Hugh Hefner would have in his back yard.

Not quite Venice Beach but it's the closest Baghdad has got.
